1. What is cold pressing process?
There are two kinds of binders commonly used in cold pressing process: wetting agent and powdery resin. Among them, wetting agent usually includes liquid phenolic resin, furfural, furfural alcohol, cresol and so on.
The factors that determine the proportion of liquid resin and powder resin in use (also called liquid-powder ratio) are: abrasive particle size distribution, filler type, filler dosage, viscosity of liquid resin, properties of powder resin, etc.

First, the abrasive is mixed with wetting agent, and then the powdery resin which has been mixed with other powdery fillers is mixed evenly. Then the mixed material is sifted and pressed.

Firstly, the cutting pieces should be installed, all the abrasives needed to be measured should be weighed, scraped and pressed. Then it is poured into the cutting piece, and the reinforcing glass mesh needs to be placed in accordance with the requirements. Then pressure is applied at indoor temperature. The range of pressure is 15-30N/mm2, 15-25N/mm2, and the pressing time is usually 5-50 seconds and 5-30 seconds.
4. Introducing the Procedure of Diamond Cutting in Manufacturing
This process can be operated in a curing furnace or a flowing tunnel curing kiln. To operate in the curing furnace, the grinding wheel is fixed with steel or ceramic discs, evenly placed in the furnace, and then the heating program is started to cure the grinding wheel. In this process, physical and chemical reactions occur. When the temperature rises to 80 C, the resin begins to melt and water evaporates, and the curing reaction begins.
